ABOUT KRISTINE ADAMS

 

Kristine Adams became a core member of FatChanceBellyDance in 2005. She spent several years in the 670 Studio 3-5 days a week studying under Carolena Nericcio, Wendy Allen, Anita Lalwani, Colette Todorov, Jessie Gauld, Karen Gehrman and more. 

 

In 2012 Kristine started her world tour teaching, performing and connecting with dancers all over the world. She traveled to 70 different countries and wrapped her travels up in 2016.

Kristine retired from FatChanceBellyDance in 2017 but continued to dance, teach, and perform globally.

In 2019 she became a certified Datura instructor.

ABOUT PHILIPPA MOIRAI

 

Taking her first ballet steps at the age of three, Philippa has had a lifelong passion for dance. She discovered belly dance in her 20s and began travelling extensively to study with Carolena Nericcio and other master teachers. In 2007 she gained FCBD®Style certification, became a Sister Studio a year later, and then a FCCE instructor. 

Philippa is well known for her encouraging and informative approach to teaching and her elegant dance style. She feels honoured to have co-taught the General Skills and Teacher Training several times with Carolena since 2011, and to have performed with Carolena, Megha and many members of FCBD®. 

Based in London, Philippa is co-artistic director of the FireWater Collective and a founding member of the Dance Sisters Collective. In addition to dance she is a qualified yoga instructor specialising in hatha, vinyasa and breathwork, and has a background in performance arts.
